In 24 movie, why Sathya's characterization needs to be criticized?

First of all, deserving a huge respect and appreciation will be the captain of the ship, Vikram Kumar. Hats off to him for giving the experience of a different ride in the name "24". While the screenplay of the time travel scenes kept the audience upbeat, there were some scenes which disturbed the essence of the movie as well. Most of them were the scenes that involved Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who played the role of Sathyabama.    Yes, the gorgeous looking Chennai girl, who never stops to amaze people with her flaunting beauty, Gorgeous Samantha from 24. had a few of the audiences go "uffff" "grrrr" in theaters amidst the fiery screenplay of the movie. Never taking away her acting skills and the beauty out of the equation, still this characterization needed a bit of thinking.     I know there would be few scripts which would be demanding in spite of the less weightage of your role. But in this particular regard of 24, it felt horrible because of the b...

The art of sleeping

They say that living is an art but I am starting to think that sleeping is an art, too! It’s just not as easy as it was when I was a kid. Being an adult, sleep is not just a sleep. It encompasses of a mixture of various feelings that we undergo in the day life. A happy sleep requires 3 things. i.e., satisfaction at heart, peace in mind and the harmony in soul. But I say, the foremost requirement for a good sleep is a good day at the work. When you gave your all, at the work and go to the bed, I bet you it is the most amazing feel in the world.     Now, why is sleeping an art? I had a research on controlling the sleep. And to my fortune, it paid off. The research was about the concept of self alarm. Yes, an automated alarm within us which would wake us up from the sleep. The idea was very simple. I had an inner consiousness while sleeping which kept an indegenous alarm within me which would wake me up around the intended time.(No more ringing bells or 6am ...

My smartphone life

28 April, 2015 is when my Moto E got broken. As I posted on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/madhootweets/status/593074143936937985 ), my heart literally did break. The latter goes out to all those who are in the same state of mine.  Replica of  the Moto E that I own(ed)   I fear my life is nothing short of nothingness without a smartphone. Because, I have not been in this scenario before. Most of the current gen people would not have too. I owned my first phone when my teenage began. My first piece was an old fashioned non touch screen one, a Sony Ericsson w200i of the walkman series. It was a kind of a make for the purpose of traditional texting engaging the lightning speed of my fingers. Later, I was handed with another phone belonging to the same series with some advanced features. I tried to manage an year with that. After being successful, I thought my life was upgraded when Mom presented me the touch phone for the first time. It was Nokia C5-03 . I completed...

Sachin Tendulkar's legendary journey

"I see myself when I see Sachin play"  -Cricketing legend Sir Don Bradman Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, had represented India at the age of 16. Rather than asking 'How old are you?', people who were longing to query his age would have asked him 'How young are you?'. Such a prodigy he was and still is one. He was given his first international cap on 15 November 1989 and exactly 23 years and 364 days later, he played his last international cricket match for his nation and on a combo, it was his 200th test match.              Sachin has scored over a 34,000 international runs, and there are no exclamations for that huge milestone after describing him as a prodigy. But still seeing another cricketer of his quality and matching his frequency, is very far away from my eyes. But who knows he might be somewhere playing cricket in schools, or schooling in kinder gardens, or building blocks in play schools, or might even be an unhatched embryo.  ...
